I took longer than I wanted to write this post, but I didn’t want to write again until I found a new template for my blog, and after some (long) searching found this one that I really liked. I had to mess a bit with the code to make it widget-enabled and since it’s a picture heavy template I had to upload a bunch of pictures and make a function to pick a random image for the old posts that don’t have a picture.
But enough of the geek-talk, the blog has a new look and I hope you all like it. It also focus a lot on images (check the home page, I love how it works) and I really like taking pictures (even if I’m an average amateur photographer, it’s still fun) and I think that having this template will motivate me to take the camera with me more often.
This is also a great moment to change the blog looks, since tomorrow I will finally be able to plan this years races! Yeah, I know it’s march and that I should have done that 3 months ago… But the (big) race I want to run mid year is on june 13th, I had planned to run it last year but then I had some big exams scheduled for the week after the race and I couldn’t run it, which sucked because I was already training for it. So I decided I would take it a bit easier this year and not plan anything until I knew my exams schedule for this semester, so far it looks like I will be able to run it, I have one last class that I don’t know it’s schedule, but I will find out tomorrow morning. So let’s hope for good news tomorrow.
That’s all for now, hope you like the new blog template, I still have some changes to do (and add a few more things), but it’s late. I will probably get to that during the weekend. As for the pic on this post, it’s from my cousin (she’s my model whenever we travel) on our trip to the Grand Canyon this year, I loved the view and peace there, and really like how this pic looks.

LOVE the new look! Hope you are able to run that race! I’ve been trying to find more races for my race schedule but am also being cautious with my classes lately.
The blog does look awesome, now, really! (Not that i didn’t like it before, of course.) So glad you liked your trip to the grand canyon – it is pretty cool, definitely!
And I hope you are able to run that race too. how many more semesters of school do you have left?
I only have 2 semesters left, so I should be done next year. Honestly, that can’t come fast enough!
